How to find a swap if you can’t fulfil your roster

If you’re unable to serve on a scheduled Sunday, please follow the steps below to help find a swap.

1. Check your roster details
Confirm the date, service time (9am / 11am), and your role.

2. Give as much notice as possible
As soon as you know you can’t make it, start the swap process.

3. Contact someone in another team with a similar role
Look for someone serving in another team or service who has a similar role to yours.

• If you already have their number, message them directly.

• If you don’t have their contact details, please catch them in person on a Sunday and ask if they’d be able to cover.

4. If it’s one week out and you haven’t found a swap yet

• Check the roster and identify someone in another team with a similar role.

• Message your team leader to ask for their contact details so you can reach out.

5. Confirm the swap clearly
Once someone agrees to cover, confirm the date, service time, and role with them.

6. Let leadership know
Please let your Team Leader know once the swap is confirmed so the roster can be updated.

If you’re having trouble finding a swap, contact your team leader as soon as possible so we can help.
